NANCY DENICOLO
BFA, MS.ED., LMHC, CYT
ART
Nancy's art is inspired by the natural world, dreams, imagination and esoterica. She uses watercolor, graphite, pen and ink and other mixed media tools to make her imagery. She keeps a daily journal with words, poetry, lists, doodles, sketches and drawings of objects she finds in the natural world and sights she sees. Sometimes these words and images become larger finished work, but in recent years she finds simply keeping her journal is a glorious way to connect with spirit and the beauty all around. Art heals. She shows her art from time to time and sells cards and prints on demand.
ABOUT
Nancy lived most of her life in NYC and the Hudson Valley. She and her husband recently moved to Connecticut to be near their daughter and son-in-law. Nancy is enjoying exploring the small New England towns near where she lives, and she especially loves being near the beautiful seashore, the Long Island Sound. In addition to art making, and walking nature trails, she loves to do handwork including sewing and crocheting. She plays ukulele, and is part of a ukulele group. She also plays out at open mics with her musician husband, John.
